Villain is 12/4/28 over 138 hands.I don't think I payed much attention to that info postflop tbh.I've been working on value betting for a while so I'm not slowplaying much, however I haven't been getting much value out of trips.So...
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (7 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
CO ($1.55)
Button ($0.99)
SB ($2.09)
BB ($5.05)
UTG ($1.88)
Hero (MP1) ($4.03)
MP2 ($2.09)
Preflop: Hero is MP1 with ,
1 fold, Hero bets $0.08, 4 folds, BB calls $0.06
Flop: ($0.17) , , (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks
Turn: ($0.17) (2 players)
BB bets $0.06, Hero calls $0.06
River: ($0.29) (2 players)
BB bets $4.91 (All-In),Hero???
If the check on the flop wasn't bad the flat on the turn sure was.

As played I think its a kick the puppy fold because of how little pot odds you have

Fold the river. You see this a lot from people with lock hands, just trying to get paid. That overshove is very very rarely a bluff. Really though at 2nl just bet bet bet youll get paid off eventually.

Look on the bright side, at least you played the hand poorly and didn't have much money invested when you had to fold.
Ya have to bet this flop at 2NL.. tons of worse hands call. Go for 3 streets of value 100%..

Don't slow play at the micros, simple as that.
River is a snap fold - try to reason out/pokerstove why.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Reasons not to slowplay flop
1) We're 200bbs deep, and its gonna be near impossible to stack him if we arent betting here.
2) We get alot of value out of KQ, QJ, QT, and get some value out of TT, 99, 88. These later hands are less likely to put money in if scary cards hit (like an A, K, J).
Reasons to not slowplay turn
1) all reasons from not slowplaying the flop
2) there are now 9 flush cards and 5 boat cards that we just dont want to see because they either kill our action against villain or weaken our equity in general (ie, if a 7 came on the river we are now splitting against any worse queen...and if a 9h comes villain either shuts down or goes bananas).
Theres a bunch of other reasons too i believe...but these should be enough right?
