I can't remember what the standard is, someone remind me.

Is it the transition from .5/1 to 1/2 is ridic or from 1/2 to 2/4?

and is it because of the swings, or just style of play.

i'm killing .5/1 latley, and plan on moving up accordingly to the bankroll, but I remember this being a huge deal.

1/2 to 2/4 is a bigger transition

more aggressive play, bigger swings, better opponents
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

at no limit or pot limit anyway, 1/2 to 2/4 is a big jump

I feel like the transition from .5/.1 to 1/2 was pretty smooth.

My attempted moves up to 2/4, however, have not gone so well. 2/4 is MUCH more aggressive, and the amount of 3-betting preflop isn't even comparable. I feel like I rarely got 3-bet at 1/2, even though I was running at 25/20.

If I try to even run close to 25/20 at 2/4, I'd expect to get 3-bet almost every time I raise.

yeah the jump is pretty big from 1/2 to 2/4, just much more aggressive and fewer random fish.

everyone was saying there's a big jump between .5/1 and 1/2, there's really not.

1/2 to 2/4 is a big jump because the regs are a lot different.
