Party 6 max $25 NL
Villain only been at table 33 hands, stats 29/0/0.5, likes to limp pre, has called pf raises with sc's/KJo type hands and is generally a calling station post flop if he has any piece of the board.
Villain 2 32/21/2 over 54 hands no real reads, tends to play from position so suspect he isn't a total donk.
Hero 31/22/4.5 for this session over 300 ish hands. Raising a lot pf from btn/co but not been caught out of line going to showdown.
What is Hero's line on flop after BB bet and villain call and why?
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) - Party-Poker Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Villain (SB) ($21.43)
Villain 2 (BB) ($15.19)
UTG ($3.27)
MP ($26.04)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A , A
Villain 2 calls $0.25, 1 fold, Villain calls $0.25, Hero raises $1.25, 2 folds, Villain 2 calls $1, Villain calls $1
Flop: ($4.10) 3 , 7 , A (3 players)
Villain 2 bets $1.75, Villain calls $1.75, [color=#CC3333]Hero ??

if villain is a station.... why aren't we making him pay for drawing to his J high flush?
why aren't we raising here... and getting it all in on the flop if it goes there??

Sucks.
I would raise to $7 and start counting outs in case of a 4-bet. If they flat call I shove a non-heart turn. If he shoves over, I think you need to suck out, but I'm too tired to fire up pokerstove.

$6, build a pot and put the rest in on the turn.
Sucks when you run into it, but your hand is too good here not to play a big pot.

We raise this because
1. We can get value from lower sets, 2 pairs, combo draws like AxKh, maybe TPTK/TPGK, etc.
2. We don't want to let the draws get there without making them pay more.
3. We want to get money from weaker hands before a 4th heart falls which would likely scare them off.

All the money in the pot before the turn card if possible. Re-evaluate turn if you can't get it all in the pot. I have no idea what to do if another heart falls.. hope they check out... but that's why you're raising the flop.. to get to the river cheaply in case the heart falls and you can pray for a boardpair.

OK all, thanks for confirming what I figured was the way ahead.
Heres what happened next.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) - Party-Poker Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
Hero (Button) ($49.58)
(SB) ($24)
Villain2 (BB) ($15.19)
UTG ($3.27)
MP ($26.04)
Villain CO ($21.43)
Preflop: Hero is Button with A , A
Villain2 calls $0.25, 1 fold, Villain calls $0.25, Hero raises $1.25, 2 folds, Villain2 calls $1, Villain calls $1
Flop: ($4.10) 3 , 7 , A (3 players)
Villain2 bets $1.75, Villain calls $1.75, Hero raises $8.17, 1 fold, Villain calls $6.42
Turn: ($22.19) 8 (2 players)
Villain checks, Hero ??
Turn card not nice, what do we make of villains turn check? This is an obvious check behind for hero no?
BTW Villain is CO, for some reason HH converter originally put him in SB.

easy check behind. Pray for a boardpair. Also.. is there any amount you can call on the river that would be a realistic value looking bet? I'm very inclined to fold any non paired river bet.

I agree with this, you don't need to raise so much on these boards because you're not giving any implied odds. As played, check turn and fold to any reasonable bet on the river unless board pairs.

Very little. Any hand that you beat is happy to check it down. If he calls our raise on the flop he probably either has a solid hand, a flush or a flushdraw. I can't really figure out what he could have that he would bluff. He could be retarded and bet bottom 2. It's not unheard of.
On the turn, after the heart hits, I'm more than happy to check this behind, and hope to fill up on the river.

So on the flop, the same villain who called the original donk bet of 1.75 is the one who calls your re-raise, correct?
if so ya, check behind. Unless the river pairs the board, hope he donks into you small or even better, checks.
IMO only
Bottom 2 pair is a stretch here, IMO. Ax is well within his range. if the board pairs and he has two pairs on flop you are getting the rest of his stack. if he has a small flush, who knows. he'll likely call at least a value bet.
Sure looks like a flush draw though.

Thanks for confirmation of line being correct all. Been on the wrong end of a few of these type hands now to villains calling pf with sooted trash and its been messing with my head!
Not that results matter, but board did pair on river and villain got it all in with Qh Jc. Amusingly villain typed 'donk' in the chat box after giving me the free card to fill up. He is in my favourite player list now.
