i just looked up the odds at
http://www.cardplayer.com/poker_odds...ldem/index.php

and mid pair with flush draw is favor vs top pair on the flop by .2%. This suprised me.

But i think there is a small glitch in this site because when the top pair has a runner runner straight draw nothing changes...

Is this site wrong? shouldn't the runner runner straight draw make top pair a bit favored?

Interesting topic. I guess the edge is so small that it's statistically insignificant.

Anyways, screw it. With the flush draw and middle pair you push push push.

Ehh, it's not the nuts, you're still on a flush draw regardless and TPTK is better in this situation.

Fold equity. If I have TPTK and have an opp push in this situation, I lay it down unless I have a great read or if the opp has a very short stack.

TPTK doesn't need the straight, and there's no board that gives MP a hand that beats TPTK but also gives TPTK the straight. That's why there's no difference.
Up my bankroll - buy Saints Row.

I'll take mid pair and flush draw any day of the week, you have what, 14 outs? The 9 remaining spades, the two remaining nines, and the three remaining sevens. You're even money to win the hand and with the money already invested into the pot you have sufficient odds to call.
