Hey guys im new to FTR...I really enjoy reading all the posts on here especially on the strategy section.

I have been doin well in huge MTT's lately, and I feel I have a solid game and strategy. One of the weaknesses in my game is trying to figure out when to fold top pair top kicker. It gets me in more trouble than I'd like it to.

I guess what I'm wondering is when you guys decide to push with TPTK and generally when you fold TPTK

TPTK is almost always worth a opening bet and a raise. But be careful with them when you are facing multiple opponents. They lose value VERY quickly. If someone shows strength you have to make a gut call whether to fold it or not. This is where knowing your opponent and being able to put them on a range of hands really comes into play.
