Hey all
I have been lurking and reading the strat guides at this site for over 3 monthes. I hadn't been playing a whole lot of poker lately until party gave me $50 to play at ther site. I cleared the bonus(500 raked hands) and now have $100 at party. I got very lucky to double the money or the site was rigged in my favor. (Thank you to the guy who limped AA on the button to my 35s, and ty to party for the A24 rainbow flop)
Now where do I go with this money? Paradise ? Stars ? Who has a decent bonus currently for first timers?
I feel under funded at party. I'm not a good player and need worse fish than myself to beat and prefer SnG's.
Any advice would be helpful.
Thank you
flomo

If you prefer SNGs, Look for sites that have micro SNGs.
Pstars has multitable SNGs for cheap
Absolute has micro SNGs I think.

Paradise has some quite easy low stakes cash games and they have quite a nice first deposit bonus but it needs a pretty big deposit for the full bonus ($400-$500 or something). Stars bonuses suck but the website is nice. Games are a little tougher too although they seem to be getting easier lately.
I personally took $100 to paradise and only got a tiny bonus, but the 2NL games there were so easy it didnt matter. I built my BR up pretty quickly from that.

Thank you both for the info.
Are the bonus codes mentioned in the FTR pokerroom reviews still being accepted at Absolute and Paradise?
Currently moving funds to neteller and seriously thinking of depositting into paradise to play the 2NL cash tables.
May your odds be good odds.
Thank you again

Absolute offers a LOT of bonuses.. I get mail from them all the time about a new bonus. And their cheap SNGs make them exactly what you want. I think I played in a .75 SNG when I got $10 from a freeroll once. =)

I took $100 to Stars and played $5.50 SnGs. If you don't have confidence in your game, $1.20s, $1.75s, and $3.40s are all available instead (the two latter are turbos). Perhaps play microstake ring games to develop some patience and discipline.
How about you play $1.20 SnGs or microlimit ring games until you have $150 (grind grind grind ) and then try out the 1 table $5.50 SnGs with 27 buyins?
I'm biased towards Stars 'cause I love the interface, so maybe don't listen to me

I am with Courtie on going to Stars. I just finished playing two 1.2o MTTs this morning. The competition is tougher on Stars than others, but it will do wonders for your game. This what champions are made of. Grind it out! Plus you'll get wonderful multitable experience if you are planning to play tournements in the future.

Thats not a good attitude to have
Just bet good hands and fold bad ones and you'll do fine.
