after two good sessions i have 15 buy-ins for the next level .25/.50 (50$ max buy-in) should i move up or wait and build my roll a bit more? is there much difference between 30$ and 50$ no limit?

I wouldnt suggest you now exclusivly play 50nl but certainly keep playing 30nl? and if your playing well at that moment id take a shot at 50nl. If you keep doing well even at this higher limit the when you reach 20/25 buy ins i would move up to play this exclusivly

Personally I want more than 15 buy in's before moving up. This is because every time I do I always seem to crash about 5 buy ins, (which seems huge when you are used to level below!), then have to go back down to regroup and move up again. I have decided that this was due to an attitude problem on my part; when I moved up I stopped playing good poker and instead thought RIGHT NOW ITS TIME TO MAKE SUM $$$$$$$$. Of course I just ended up making dumb calls pushing too hard and pretty much forgetting every rule I ever learnt!
I def recommend not just making a clean jump up to a new level, mix it up a bit at the start and in my case always ask would I call this at the level below or am I just being lured in by the $$ in the pot?

At $100 NL and below if you playwell I think 15X buy-ins is sufficient to move up a level.
