Id say you could give 5nl a shot since you have 25 buyins. If you dont feel comfortable there you could always stay at 2nl until you feel you have enough buyins for the next level.

If you are tilting, stepping away from the game may be the safest option. It saves your bankroll and your sanity in some cases.

There isn't any real noticeable difference in competition level between 2nl and 5nl. So it matters on whether you are beating the game at 2nl over a significant sample or not. If so, then you should be able to do the same at 5nl. If not, then you definately shouldn't move up as you aren't a proven winner at the lower limit.
You have enough buyins for 5nl, but you have to have a stop-loss in place in case you go on a tad of a downswing. i would say that if you hit $95 or so then you should drop back down to 2nl, IF you do decide to give 5nl a chance.
I'd say if you feel confident enough to go ahead and give 5l a chance, as it isn't any different than 2nl really. However, you may find that over a significant sample you aren't a winner and you lose more money losing at 5nl than at 2nl. So, to be honest, if you haven't put in alot of hands at 2nl and have a decent winrate than it obviously can't hurt to play 2nl and get more experience cheaper.
It's really a matter of what you feel like doing. Just remember to make a plan and stick to it, and drop down if your BR falls below your stop-loss.

When you have $100, play 5nl. (20 buy-ins)
When you have $250, play 10nl. (25 buy-ins)
When you have $750, play 25nl. (30 buy-ins)
When you have $1750, play 50nl. (35 buy-ins)
When you have $4000, play 100nl. (40 buy-ins)
When you have $10000, play 200nl. (50 buy-ins)
If you follow this and regularly play and work on your game, you'll be making a lot of money in less than two years imo.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

dude I just saw that your bank roll is due to second place in that tourney. IN that case, no way lol should you move up. Prove your winnings at your current 2NL level first. If you are winning, then cool. By the time you move up you'll be over rolled for 5NL and will be able to pwn free of bankroll stress.

keep playing 2nl till you have proven that you can beat that game fo a good winrate, also now you have a decent sized roll stop buying in for 50bbs and buyin for 100bb, thisll get you used to playing deeper stacked poker for the future which is definitely + ev.
