Switch to penny poker (go down a few levels) or stop playing for a day or two.

o Take a break.
I also find switching up games works. I frequently bounce between LHE, NLHE, 7CS and Heads-Up SnGs. Sometimes I hit the rare SnG, but I've never been a big fan of the format. It keeps my head fresh and away from playing crap hands out of bordem.
Speaking of which had an evil 7CS hand recently. I brought it in and had trips on 4rth and a baby boat on 5th. I'm ramming and jamming like mad with 2 fish calling me all the way down. Both make boats on the river, one was bigger (he had 2 pair until then) bringing in an over 20 BB pot...

I guess it happens. I had a horrible day yesterday, though I took a break and worked at choosing better tables. I was able to find tables with loose betters and won a few all ins. Now I'm up around 250 today alone.

Honestly I think i have the best hand I go all out but then after I see I lost I see that what the person did (re-raising, etc) I should of picked up on but didn't. I think I"m way over my head or I'm just playing stupid
o Take a break.
Will do for like a week prob

From what I hear the .5/1 NL is much softer. Also, I've had *several* 10 buy-in downswings at .25/.5 NL, which would be a $1000 swing at that level. Dropping 3-4 buy-ins isn't that big of a deal for me. I just review hands and jump right back in.

Yeah, I've definitely lost a couple hundred bucks in a 3 hour period playing 0.5/1.0 blinds. I think that losing $500 in one day at 1/2 blinds is to be expected.
