I'm playing at Party Poker and am having trouble at the NL tables.
Im not losing money, but Im not really making much either.
The problem is, all of the people at the level I am playing at seem to:
a) have super-short stacks
b) play ridiculously tight
How do you beat these people? Aside from just stealing the blinds all the time (which is what I have been doing).
For example, the table I was just at has VP$IP of: 0, 8, 13, 10, 7 and a few other highers ones but none that are really higher than 20
And they will not call raises at all unless they have an amazing hand.
I got dealt AA and KK, both times I tried just raising 1BB in hopes even one person would call, but no such luck.
So is there any way to make money at places like this, or do you just have to keep picking up the blinds as much as possible?
Lately I have just been moving and playing 0.5/1 limit, where people seem to have money and want to part with it.
Anyway, just wondering if there is a gameplan for situations like this, aside from just finding a new table/game?

table select better.
Dont sit at full ring tables.
other than that, the 25nl 6max games are out there on party.

Open the pot lightly, but fold to absolutely any resistance. Don't 3 bet without AA/KK.
Theres 1.5 big blinds up for grabs every hand. That money adds up. Taking it is very profitable.

sit for an orbit or two. if you dont like the "tightness," MOVE.
at a high volume site, like party or stars, the games are out there, you just need to find them. dont sit at the first open table you see.

LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.
Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

i would imagine most low stakes NL games are beatable. Just play more hands while playing solid and you will win.

don't sit at bad tables (really though this shouldn't too much of a problem at Party 10nl). also, how many hands have you played?

Ya, a lot of good ideas.
I've been finding some better games now, and otherwise just stealing blinds all day long which seems to be quite profitable.
And I haven't played too many hands. About 3000 or so, although its been at a few different limits.
I've started just adding the really bad players I see to my buddies list, that way its always to find a game with at least one person to slaughter.
