These are all hands from my last session. I've omitted reads and stack sizes because I'm looking for a generic leak. I'm trying to improve my turn and river play with my fairly good hands. If there's a spot where you think reads are particularly relevant, please note that...

Queestion I want to know is - if faced with only a flat call on the flop, what kind of aggression do i show on the turn with a good 1 pair hand?

Do I slow it down and try to control the size of the pot/induce river bluff or attempt to catch my bluff...
or keep dropping the hammer until I get raised (by which time I might be pot committed and get stacked)?
Does it matter if I'm in position or not? Obviously I have to evaluate the potential harm of checking behind on the turn and giving a free card... I'm so confused. I haven't totally grasped the concept of getting value while avoiding getting stacked by a random set/2 pair. I'm winning more with less variance since I've learned to slow down, but now I feel I'm missing value. Any guidance would be much appreciated

Thanks in advance for any help offered!

i think these are fine. i don't think there's as much value at mid-stakes as there is at micro-stakes in just blasting each street with TPTK-ish/weak overpair type hands.
Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject. So you know you are getting the best possible information.

On this board I probably bet turn / check behind river alot of the time since it is so dangerour. As played I might even check behind this river. Lots of 2 pairs out there now and a floating hand isnt calling a river bet. I might be losing value here though.

I play it how you did. The limp/call preflop is a set often enough to keep the pot small. Reads definatly help with this one. How tight is he preflop? An early position limp/call is sethunting 100% of the time from quite a few players.

Sometimes play it how you did. Sometimes call flop and see if they fire again on the turn depending on how nitty they are. Sometimes just fold the flop.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

Hand 1: I might check behind on the river against an unknown, as that J has hugely increased the range of hands that beat you, especially against a fairly fishy player. The rest seem fine.
