As a newer player, these are things I am now working on to get better:
1. Paying closer attention to other players' play.
2. Playing one table at a time to accomplish the above.
3. Paying more attention to my position and THEN the cards.
4. Being more aggressive when I have good cards, but getting action from the table too.
5. Not letting a bad beat bother me. Make some notes and patiently wait for the opportunity to make someone pay for bad play.
6. Try not to be the guy making bad plays.
7. Feeling good about laying certain hands down, when I suspect I'm beat, even if I've invested a bunch in a pot.
That's just some of them.
I have been consistently making small amounts of money playing micro limit NL ring games, MTT's, and a few SnG's.
Built my $50 up to $400 at a slow but consistent rate over the last 5 months. I would like to start really making some money, but I am even MORE interested in becoming a really good player. Then the money will come.

I think they you becomign a good player will come with the money, Poker in the long run will benifit the person with skill. While you are becoming a greater player you will have a bigge bank roll. I have set a new operation for myself to do something similar to this.

Positively indecipherable.
