If a card that comes on the flop pairs on the turn or the river what things do you consider when you act? When the board pairs the first thing that comes to my mind usually is representing trips... sometimes I'm scared they'll have it tho, and sometimes I go for it.
How do you handle things when the board pairs? Or what circumstances effect the way you play these?
thanks

Overpair more likely to be good.

Position position position.
I wouldn´t try to rep trips UTG. Also of course consider the number of players still in the pot and their pot commitment. More players means both greater risk that someone has trips, AND you´ll get a harder time getting everybody to fold.
My experience is that if the board pairs, and the pair is medium or above, and there are still some people in - at least one of them has a strong hand that he is willing to call all the way with.

Most players hate paired boards. Personally, in ring games I love them. They give me the liscense to bluff like a champ (something I hate to do in online ring games except in these situations). Most of the time my table image will get me a decent pot. I refuse to slow play anything smaller than a boat so when most people watch me check/call on the flop and make a callable bet/raise/re-raise on the turn they think I must have a monster and all of a sudden reevaluate their hand. I love doing this with or without the boat and I have won more and bigger pots this way. This bluff DOES NOT WORK against true fish. Make sure that you have evaluated your opponents and that they have evaluated you. A fish wont realize what you are doing and keep calling you with his unhidden set. Also don't get caught up in your bluff if you happen to get to the river, just throw it away, you do not want to show your true play here or it will never work again.
