1. Discipline. The poker ninja will always stick to his strategy in the face of adversity.

2. Cleverness. The poker ninja is constantly thinking of new ways to outsmart each one of his opponents.

3. Discipline. As long as he has a chip and a chair, the poker ninja is not out of the game.

4. Stamina. A poker ninja can play till 5am (if the game is good) and get up in time for work the next morning.

5. Mental Toughness. The poker ninja will always channel his emotions, good or bad, allowing him to concentrate more energy on the game.

6. Common Sense. A poker ninja will never play in a game where the rules suck, he knows someone might be cheating, or if he is in a position where he cannot play his best game.

Shouldn't you change your strategy based on the type of game you are in? 1 and 2 seem to contradict eachother.

Well, my strategy is to constantly think if new ways to outsmart each one of my opponents, and I try to stick to it. Unless I run into adversity.

Next time try this:
Sneak into the poker room using your ninja stealth. Pull out your samuri sword and take everyones money, killing the people who get in your way.

It's more profitable than any poker style you can ever play.
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

Yeah, every time the ol' bankroll gets low I have to resort to this. I really have to learn to start playing better poker before the death toll gets too high. The humanity!

I don't think it means adversity in the sense of being schooled... I think it means bad beats. You don't start trying crazy shit just because you got sucked out on three hands in a row for big pots... you buy back in and stick to what you decided was the plan. You can change the plan, but not as a knee-jerk reaction to events beyond your control.

One might say the Poker Fnord finds games where his opposition is outsmarted from the get go.

Would you recommend said ninja use the Wakazashi or the Katana?....actually why in the hell would he use one of the weapons of his mortal enemy when a Ninja-to is a much better weapon, parrying device and all round useful emergency too (especially when you need to hide in a pond/lake and use the scabard as a breathing device).

Yeah, I'm a ninja geek/student and just get pushed over the edge by that kind of mixing of styles

this is why Poker Fnord carries a 500x bankroll over poker ninja.
