I knew there was a reason I liked limit. Not that I was especially good at it or anything. But, if I was going to bet, I only had to think in pre-set increments. One chip or two. Would you like cheese with that?

Now I'm trying to move to NLHE ring games. I'm using the info in a bunch of the posts here to help make the switch on starting hands, PFRs, etc. and can carry over what I knew about position and board texture. But, as has been aptly pointed out in some other posts, online NLHE these days is more about post-flop play than ever, and I REALLY need help in the "WTF do I bet now..." department.

My reading has included SSHE, HEP for Adv Players, WLLHE and some of TTOP. But as these mostly talk about limit poker, they're not much help in making the transition to post-flop NL betting.

Help!!! Any suggestions on reading to help this specific transition?

I knew little before.... and now I feel like I don't know sh!t!

if youre stuck on betting sizes bet 4BB+1 per limper preflop, reraises are 3x the bet (preflop and post) and bet 3/4 pot on flop and turn, half pot river. Once you get some experience you'll start to deviate in certain situations but those sizes shouldnt get you into too much trouble.

Things to think about before betting a different size are how drawy the board are. Do you have an implied odds/reverse implied odds hand. Is there alot/a little left to be bet. Is your hand any good. Other stuff.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.
