Okay. What do you make of this one?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

MP3 ($30.26)
CO ($15.33)
Button ($10.40)
Hero ($10.60)
BB ($6.78)
UTG ($23.18)
UTG+1 ($5)
UTG+2 ($6.57)
MP1 ($9.69)
MP2 ($10.65)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 6, 6. Hero posts a blind of $0.05.
4 folds, MP2 raises to $0.2, MP3 calls $0.20, 1 fold, Button raises to $0.4, Hero (poster) calls $0.35, 1 fold, MP2 calls $0.20, MP3 calls $0.20.

Flop: ($1.70) 5, 6, 3 (4 players)

Okay. Converter's lost the plot here.
It went like this:
Hero bets $1, MP3 raises $2, BTN raises $5
Hero raises $9.20 and is all-in
MP3 raises $13.40, BTN is all-in $5

What happened next?
Blah blah Op Blah blah

I thought that with top set it was worth the call, even if the flush hits there's a chance of the boat.

Before I give you the result the other two hands are:

MP3: :Ad: :As:
BTN:

Hey. They were sooted.

Ok are we talking depravity here?....

Turn -
River -

Sucks to be you....???????

Edit: Also I dont care about the flush draw when thinking about calling, in-fact I WANT there to be a flush draw and someone pushing all in on it. There would be NO WAY I would ever fold your hand on that board in a raised pot unless someone who loves 74o is playing .

The point at which you went All-in you were the underdog to the made straight. I'm gonna say you sucked out at hit the final 6.

Edit: I'm a two-pair. Maybe now I can stop myself from getting stacked with just TPTK.

Turn: :Jh:
River :Jd:

Took down a $30 pot which is the biggest I've ever taken (hey, a couple of weeks ago that would have been 6 buy ins )

I'd feel bad for the guy with 42s, except I think it's only fair and it might help hiim learn no to play such crap

It's been a good day today; not only have I nearly got back to breaking even at Party's 10NL I have also finally got my BR over $300 after much upping and downing.

Yeah. When you know who was in the lead it's easier to work out who got sucked out (Man, that sounds rude when I put it like that).

Partly I want to revel in what was probably my biggest pot to date... but was also encouraged to hear no one say "You went all-in on this board? You *FD#!" $#!¤@#er, you deserved to get #¤!£$ up your $£!?"#."

You'll get used to it soon enough. Today I had a fair share of $30+ pots. The funniest was a guy trying to bluff me out but I just *knew* he didn't have anything.

Another funny thing.. my first $30 pot win happened the first 5 minutes I ever played online. (dumped it all back soon therafter, b/c I started thinking "haha this is soooo easy!!")

Nice Hand, well played, and congrats on the pot. I can't beleive the play of MP3 with AA, calls a raise, then calls a reraise, and finally puts all his money in on the flop when he's in 3rd place. That has to be the way to guarantee you lose the most with AA. How on earth did his stack get to be $30?

I've now had my "training wheels" forcibly removed at Party so I'm no longer at the beginers tables. Looks like it's another site for me, til my confidence/bankroll is appropriate for $25NL.

I came third once with kings full of aces, AND I should have run screaming out of the pot but ploughed on regardless.

I'm thinking that I played this more or less correctly (would have lead the flop if it was 2 suited. Elected to slowplay on with the rainbow flop)-- but then again, my poker radar's been especially bent lately and I wanted to make sure I didn't do anything stupid here. Not worth a new thread and it fits in here.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

UTG+1 ($30.85)
MP1 ($3.75)
MP2 ($6.05)
MP3 ($17.75)
CO ($24.40)
Button ($30.45)
Hero ($24.75)
BB ($24.50)
UTG ($10.61)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9, 9. Hero posts a blind of $0.10.
6 folds, Button raises to $1, Hero (poster) calls $0.90, BB calls $0.75.

Flop: ($3) 3, 9, 7 (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $0.75, Button raises to $4, Hero calls $4, BB folds.

Turn: ($11.75) T (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $8, Hero calls $19.75 (All-In), Button calls $11.75.

River: ($51.25) 6 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $51.25

Results in white below:
Button has 8c Qc (straight, ten high).
Hero has 9s 9h (three of a kind, nines).
Outcome: Button wins $51.25.

Well, no mistake to push on the turn. He has a 2-edged straight draw so 1/5 to hit on the river so meh, bad beat. But I wouldn't reraise on the flop already here. Noone in their right mind calls that with Q8. But yeah, maybe you had already correctly identified him as a calling station? Flop isn't too scary, so I usually just call there.. although you are OOP so it depends really. If I had position I'd definately slowplay the flop, but now he might check behind which always sucks, so I'd say this looks ok.

Hero didn't reraise the flop. He checked, the BB bet, and the villain button raised. Hero then just coldcalled (whihc is either donkalicious or suspicious as all hell in my book).

If you are going to check-raise that turn, I think I like just an open-bet instead (button might just take a free card there).

Yeah-- the CR AI on the turn was as transparent as they come. But the with the villain's huge flop bet, it was going to reach critical mass whether I bet or just came along for the ride IMHO.

Better to lead the flop here? I know I'm rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic with this exact example but if I could have played the hand better, even with the same result (I don't see how I get away from this with that river card and I don't see the villain folding with the OESD on the turn) it's worth discussion (for me at least).
