I've noticed my style of play greatly varies depending on the table. I guess I'm not very "solid", like I should be. The thing is, when 2 tabling my VP$IP might be 8% at the other table and 28% at the other one.

I might be very loose and aggressive in a loose and weak table, maybe even isolating one weak caller from button with a strong raise holding K9o.

I think I have to tighten up a good amount when I get to higher levels but I guess this is working now. I'm currently playing NL25.

Am I being just a good player adjusting to the table or too wild? Do you think tightening up would give better results? I'm winning now... and I can lay down some good hands.

I just recently got to this level and I don't have enough hands under my belt to post stats yet. Share me some personal experiences please.

You VP$IP will always vary from table to table. Keep your overall average somewhere between 15% (tight but not too tight) and 25% (loose but not too loose) and you're good to go. Your PFR% should be at least half of your VP$IP%. After VP$IP, that's usually where newer players need the most work.

My PFR% is almost exactly half of my VP$IP. It was first actually too high because I was raising hands I should've limped with in early position. I'm naturally a very aggressive player, which is one of the problems I'm battling with atm. I'm trying to tune it down a bit (post-flop aggression).

Renton will become famous soon enough
you should almost never be limping

if you playing full ring its ok to limp in early position with some hands

I play full ring. I limp in with few hands. Marginal hands like AJ, KQ, QJs from early position. Always depending on the table tho. Last position I sometimes limp in with small PPs, AXs and suited connectors.
