This is a huge money making play to call preflop raises in hope of hitting a set on the flop. Just make sure the price is right. The general rule of thumb is make sure the bet you're calling is no more than 10% of your stack and your opponent's.
If you set and an ace hits the flop quite often you're golden.

Assuming you can outplay people postflop (which isn't too hard), I'd be limping a bunch on hands. Over bet your good hands. Take down orphan pots.

I don't call these unless their stack (and mine) is 20x what I have to call. If you like to - and have some success with - playing aggro and taking down pots on missed sets when you call raises, you could lower this to 10x. If I'm playing Lagg/floater then I'll call 10x ofcourse, but this has been rare up to present.

Raise the premium hands big aces etc limp or call raises (when opp has a decent sized stack) with pps and make sets, no real need to hang around unless you hit until your postflop skillz improve with pps.
Call in lp with sooted junk if there are a couple of limpers in the pot and its unlikly to be raised behind you (best on the btn but CO is acceptable too)
The key to 25nl is not to spew by playing too many hands preflop, folding top pair or overpairs when they are beaten by sets and making sets to pwn those who cant do the above.
Of course that assumes yur playing 25nl full ring. If you arent its probably the best place to play...
