Just curious, I have just recently purchased Poker Tracker and I am in the process of manually inputting all of my S-n-G games into it.

My question is about the Stealing Blinds / Blinds Stolen stat. How is this configured? What I mean is, is it only a stat that keeps track of when the SB or BB fold to a preflop raise or is the actual hand somehow involved?

Reason is, would a player raising preflop in MP with AA actually be "stealing" the blinds if he takes down the pot? Hell, maybe it is just me not playing enough ring games and still trying to work my bankroll up through these S-n-G's.

Apologies up front if this is so simple it teeters on ridiculous - the answer is probably right in front of me.

Thanks again - Grim

I believe the "Attempted to steal blinds" stat tells us how often the player raised from the CO or button when it was folded to him.

Would this also take into effect the SB raising the BB? Just trying to gain a better understanding of it all.
