New member , I love the site so far and read for hours. I wouldnt consider my self a newbie to poker as ive been playing with friends and very little online poker , but im ready to play more online and make some money out of it. So here is my main question as ive read to keep ur money managment , is to have at least 20x buyin for what you are playing so ill be depositing 100 into full tilt or pokerstars 2morrow is it more profitable to play $5.50 16m or 45m tourneys and what is a good amount of tourneys to be playing at once.
thank you guys for any help or suggestions i appricate it. I hope to be a more active member as soon as I get some real results!

Personally, I would re read the BRManagement thread again. 20x is an old number used for cash table buy ins, Tourneys are more like 100++BI's. S&G's are 50++. Look here

is this an existing FTP account or a new one . If a new one make sure you register through a rakeback site.Otherwise you'll be missing value forever.
If you haven't played much online poker you probably are a noob.Read as many posts in the beginners digest as you can before committing too much of your bankroll to the tables .On the left of this screen , 8th link down is to poker videos ,take a look at those as well.

Always look at: winrate and time. You will have to find out yourself what works for you best. If your highest $/hour are in HU sng's then play those.
Also look at winrate per open tables. For example: You might be let's say winning 1 out of 4 STTs when playing only 1 at the time, winning 1 out of 5 when playing 4 of them at the same time. And winning only 1 out of 16 when 8 tabling. So in this case playing 4 is the best choice (since your $/hour is bigger than playing only 1, even though you have a better winrate in playing only 1).

I think 25-30 is fine for STTs, but you gotta be quick to move back down.
