My apologies if this is in the wrong forum. So Stars was lagging and freezing up last week, and I decided to upgrade my crappy connection. My connection is now supposed to be up to 4096 kbps download, though a speed test I just ran clocked in at 1,500.

Anyway, I was just on Stars and it froze up again! I ran another speed test, and I'm still running at 1,500 kbps. My ping does seem a little high though, ranging from 150-220. Could that be the problem? Is anyone else having issues with Stars?

For now I will work under the assumption that this is somehow related to Malware. I've just downloaded Spybot S&R.

TLR is an unknown quantity at this point
 I used to have a lot of disconnect problems, with connection to other sites working well, then I changed the connection port in their ini file and it solved me.

Thanks TLR. I tried what you suggested, but it froze up on me again. I might try switching poker rooms. I don't really know what else to do.
