No HH, sorry.
.1/.2 NL. 6 max. typical table, typical (bad) players.
Is 1 shortstack ($4), and two ~$20 stacks, I have them covered.
UTG raises to $2, shorty pushes for $4, next guy calls. comes to me with AA. I push.
my reasoning is that UTG likes his hand, the guy who smooth calls a 10x raise and a reraise obviously likes his hand and is not letting it go preflop. UTG may fold to my push, but there is a good chance he calls since he likes his hand and sucks at poker.
anyone do anything different and why.

stacks are too deep to push imo.
Just reraise to 8.
Discount the fact that shorty is in this hand at all. You just want to raise:
1. Enough to deny proper implied odds to UTG villain.
2. But not too much that he make the right play and folds.

i disagree with this.
the UTG raise to 10x is either a stone cold bluff (it happens) in which case he is not calling my reraise, or its a pretty good hand, probably something in the TT+, AK range. if its the latter, I don't think the typical player at this level can let this go preflop. If a scare card hits on the flop, he will have an easier time letting it go however.
also, there is a third player in this hand who just smooth called a raise and a reraise. he will not let his hand go preflop. he might let it go if scare cards come on the flop though.
finally, if I reraise then I am going to be (most likely) playing AA against two active opponents in a ballooned pot.

Stacks are 100BB a push wouldnt be a huge overbet and a "standard" raise would essentially commit him. I dont really want to isolate against the shorty which is very often what any raise will do since people are going to be calling 2 bets instead of 1. If we call here UTG is almost definitely calling, if we raise there is a good chance he is folding. Id be surprised if he would call off nearly half his stack but not all of it before the flop, so if we are raising at all I think a push would be the best option. I would rather call though and hope UTG puts in a third bet or tags along anyways.
