Ive seen where something like 22/18/3 is a solid player. But would this only apply to higher stakes? Its seems that 18 PFR% at lower stakes is not likely. If you come in raising at say something like 25nl, your likely to get like 2 or 3 callers. It amazes me how I can be playing TAGG at low limit tables and card dead folding for half an hour, and the moment I raise I get 2+ callers.

Fair to say that "good" stats would vary with stakes?
I finally figured out my problem, my logic is flawed.

I used to worry about my stats to much. Having solid stats is a reasonable indicator that you are aren't a complete tard , but there is so much more to it than that. You should never worry about keeping your stats in line when making decisions, just make the decisions based on the situation you are in.

Playing tight at the micro's does work. However you can play tight and still get absolutely murdered.

I am playing at $10 NL at the moment, but I have also played $25. Players do fold, in fact $25 NL on Full tilt is full of nits multi tableing. It also has many calling stations. The trick is to pick out player types and manipulate them.

If you are getting 3 callers every time you raise (Sounds dubious to me if your playing 6 max) and you wake up with Pocket Aces, raise bigger pre flop. If you have two complete nits in the blind when you are on the button , then steal their blinds with any two cards.

Value bet the life out of calling stations. You must must bet when you have a hand. You can value bet much lighter against them and they will call you down. If they start going re raise mad, then there is a good chance they have what they are saying.

There are many different types of player, it is up to you to pick them out, and manipulate their mistakes.
