Is this standard to stack off here?

Villian is running 38/29 over 90 hands.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

SB ($34.85)
BB ($10.05)
UTG ($30.15)
UTG+1 ($23.90)
Hero (MP1) ($24.65)
MP2 ($27)
CO ($39.80)
Button ($24.45)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with Q, Q
2 folds, Hero raises to $1, 1 fold, CO raises to $23.65, 3 folds, Hero calls $22.65

thanks

what's your cut-off?

would you call this versus a 25/10?

25/5?

20/18?

Considering the sample set, it's likely this player is really more of a 25/18 or so... and still yes. Then again, the saner the stats, the less likely they are to EVER make this play. Unless they should have some read on you that you never consider pot odds or hero-call overbets...

I don't see folding here without a very specific read.
Check out my self-deprecation here!

And fwiw, form a bad player I would expect to see stuff like weaker pps/TT/JJ/AK/AQ more often than AA/KK..

Against a 12/10 nit I might think about folding. Against a 38/29 no way - this is standard.

The cut off for inst-calling is probably somewhere in between (but not sure exactly where).
