I'm thinking of buying it, from what i've read (on their site) it has quite a few strategy building tutorials - but I don't want to buy it purely for the graphics (because from what I've seen, pkr.com do a better job ;p )
I must admit this kind of appealed : -
"--it's actually built to learn what you do as you play and react based on what it learns from you. For example, if you throw in a bet with nothing, the AI comes back over the top with a big raise, and you bow out, it'll learn that you're not necessarily the type to throw down when you don't have a made hand. Conversely, if you play things a little bit recklessly, throwing out big bets on lousy hands to try and make a bluff, the AI will start to challenge you more and more to the point where it simply won't buy your load of malarkey. Is it a video game?
If so, Heck no brother, you can get tutorials here, and video games make your BR go up how much? Zippado.
If it's not a video game, the I dunno

Only problem is when you develop a strategy to beat the AI, will that translate at all to actual tables?

Smithers, use the amnesia ray.
You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

Hmm yeah I see what you mean. I've never played in a live game before, I live about half hour from the victoria casino in london and they have tournaments from £20 I think I might give a couple a try in a week or so. It will probabally be a better use of money than buying this video game, and I'd like to try a live game

i played it for a bit when it first came out. the graphics do suck. and there's no way to fast forward through the animations. but i think you can make money with it through tourneys they have online. but im not 100% sure. as for a learning tool, i just played it to play it.

The tutorials from that game used to be on YouTube but I don't know if they still are.
They weren't bad.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

yeah I've watched them online. They aren't bad. However, nothing really too complex.
