Hey guys, me again. I was just wondering if everyone could give me some absolute MUST read (or watch/listen) ideas for basic play. More specifically, I am looking for places to start regarding small limit online play however anything in general is greatly appreciated. I am by no means an absolute noobie, so advanced strategy reading is perfectly fine.
I have read many different collections such as many of mike caro's pieces, the super systems and some of helmuth's laughable material.
Thank's again, it's really appreciated

Like I said in the other thread, go read Winning Low Limit Hold'em. It's got some decent material for low-stakes cash games. On the other hand, you're probably going to get just as good advice here on FTR if you just ask the right questions.
EDIT: Also, it's mandatory to read every post in the Beginner's Digest forum. It wouldn't be a bad idea to check out some of the videos either.

Yeah good book for starters. No Limit Hold'em: Theory and Practise should be high on your reading list, and of course Theory Of Poker is basically your poker bible. Heavy going for a beginner, but should be getting it fairly early on.

I really got a lot out of Phil Gordons Little Green Book and Little Blue Book. One is on more theory and one is actual hand analysis (for tournament play, but you get an idea of the thought processes).
Harrington on Hold Em is also a must read IMO. Again, mostly applies to tournament play but the theory is very sound.

I think for basic strategy you can't really go wrong. Winning Low Limit HE seems to be the standard. I haven't read it though.
I would advise against reading Theory of Poker, Super System or Small Stakes Hold-Em quite yet. Try to develop a solid basic strategy and then gradually work your way up.
The strategies and math discussed in these books are more likely to hurt your game early on than help you become a better player.
