Hello everyone!

I have some questions. Some I think I know the answer, but I want to be sure anyway:

1) AK = cap pre flop?

2) A9 blind should call a raise?

3) J9 midlle position should limp?

4) 99 UTG = raise?

5) last, a hand I played the other day:

KK midlle position.
I raised. 1 or 2 guys called.
flop = AAx
I raised, one guy calls.
turn = x
I raised, he reraises me and I fold.
What did I do wrong????

Thx

1) AK = cap pre flop? Y
2) A9 blind should call a raise? usually -- you mean you've got a BB in and it's another to you right?
3) J9 midlle position should limp? J9s only plays late. J9o only plays from SB/BB for the minimum, or raise on the button if stealing's possible.
4) 99 UTG = raise? Y. Generally if it's good enough to play, you want to open raise it UTG
5) last, a hand I played the other day:

Lot of variables here. BTW all the above answers are general guidelines; some are quite situation-dependent.

In tiny limits if you get callers with a PF raise, you might want to apply the Post-It principle:

Awsome post-it
I'm getting one of those for sure!

My problem with 99 is the same as with any low pair.
In Low limit they are only good if they trip on the flop,
because eveyone plays until the river with an A, K, Q!!
I'm even questioning limping with any low pair.
Maybe I'm wrong and I should play them, but everytime I limp with
low pair or raise with high non figure pair I feel like I'm throwing away my money.
