I have about four or five hands I would like to eventually post for some help. Is there an unsaid rule about how many a person can post? I don't want to be labeled a spammer , but I just started my real money play and i could use some advice. Anyway here is the first hand. This is a $1 SnG and 7 places get paid right now we have 8 left in the SnG.

Seat 1: SMODO (15890 in chips)
Seat 2: BIGGERM 1 (1173 in chips)
Seat 3: kstarm (12790 in chips)
Seat 4: jokaki01 (9537 in chips)
Seat 5: mls17 (3125 in chips)
Seat 6: MarshalArms8 (8495 in chips)
Seat 8: slybuck1 (12725 in chips)
Seat 9: irishtiger12 (3765 in chips)
SMODO: posts the ante 50
BIGGERM 1: posts the ante 50
kstarm: posts the ante 50
jokaki01: posts the ante 50
mls17: posts the ante 50
MarshalArms8: posts the ante 50
slybuck1: posts the ante 50
irishtiger12: posts the ante 50
BIGGERM 1: posts small blind 300
kstarm: posts big blind 600
Dealt to kstarm [Qd As]
jokaki01: folds
mls17: folds
MarshalArms8: folds
slybuck1: calls 600
irishtiger12: folds
SMODO: calls 600
BIGGERM 1: folds
kstarm: raises 600 to 1200
slybuck1: calls 600
SMODO: calls 600
*** FLOP *** [Ts 4d Qh]
kstarm: bets 1800
slybuck1: calls 1800
SMODO: raises 12840 to 14640 and is all-in

I felt that SMODO had stolen some pots earlier with a really large stack (3-4:1 on the table) but I didn't want to bubble out and I layed it down.

Ok
I think this is a MTT rather than an SNG, but i could be wrong.
First thing. Old saying poker 'never bet the ranch on top pair' Top pair is often good, but when big bets start flying around it then isnt. Bare that in mind
Second, with a hand like AQ you need to pump the pot up preflop, make it expensive for other hands to see a flop. You just mini raised here where as you should have made it at least 1800 possibly 2200 as you are a big stack. With more callers/limpers here a bigger raise is certainly the better play.
Thus, the flop leaves you in a tough spot. Yes you have top pair top kicker, but an all in here suggests clearly you are beat. Your preflop raise allows big stacks to play hans like QT and see thsi flop.
So, you have to fold this. But next time, if your preflop play is better this isnt such a tough decision. If the aggro big stack wants to buy pots let him a bit, but when you flop teh nutz he will make the wrong move! Then you can wave goodbye to him and move onto the next hand
Hope this helped a little

There is no rule on how many to post. Post them all in the Holdem Hand Histories section of the forum. There is no rule on how many to post although i would suggest posting the more important ones first. Post them all and we'll see if we can help you but read the sticky first and try and use the converter.
Most importantly of all welcome to the forums =)
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

I agree with miffed. He has you covered in chips and it is too easy to be behind here. If he has been bullying too much then wait until you have a stronger hand. It doesnt have to be the nuts but i would say 2 pair at least on a board like this. You havnt invested much and you can fold this and still be in a good position to win the tournament. You can make up the chips later by bullying someone like MarshalArms8 who is probably also scared of bubbling out. If you go out at this stage it needs to be for a really good reason (set over set etc.).
I fold.
