Hand 1.
9th hand after sitting down at the table . Villain had hardly played a hand to this point.

I'm assuming that with the flopped gutshot which turned into an open ended straight draw that it was correct to stay in the hand. Should I have raised the flop?. I folded since I missed my draw by the river . with him leading the flop,turn and river I thought he had hit the flop and all i could possibly beat would be if he had missed his flush draw.

Hand 2 - 2 hands later with the same villain who ended up the session with stats of 21/15/2.5

This comes under the description of " I bottled it". Coming so soon after the previous hand in which he had been raising me , and having raised my preflop raise, I put him on a pocket pair ,AJ+ and possibly KQ.Generally , i felt that i was behind and that it would be expensive to carry on. Was the check on the flop the right move or was it just an open invitation for his PSB to fold me out of the hand.

Similar thinking on his range on this hand. I was starting to wonder whether this guy was just reraising the hands that I had raised thinking that he would be able to get me to fold with aggressive betting. I'm thinking that I should have folded to his reraiseas most of the range I put him on would have me beaten and to be totally honest , it was a call hoping to hit on the flop and then be able to play back at him aggressively .Once I missed the flop and he bet it , i folded.

The previous hand I'd had KQ as well and raised it preflop and missed the flop and ended up losing 20 cents.My confidence had gone, all my pre flop raises had gone bad and cost me money so I just limped in preflop.
Finally hit the flop with Top pair and a good kicker.I think my raise was too small so that it didnt extract value from flush draws.turn opened up club flush draws and a gutshot straight draw. The board had turned horrible potentially for me with the straight and flush draws on it, should I have called raised or folded here.
by the river,it potentially made the straight , or the club flush draw but i thought the straight would have bet nearer pot or even all in, the club flush draw was less likely as there was only one club on the flop, .I was aware that he had seen me folding on the previous hands so that if he'd missed his draws he might be hoping i'd fold to a bet again .

Hand 1: hmmm...he donk leads into you. folding is ok here. i dont think raising is a good play in this spot bc you don't want to play a huge pot. on the turn I like a fold. You didnt improve. I don't think you have implied odds if you hit your hand on the river because there will be 4 to a straight on the board and he probably wont call a big river bet. so I think folding after the turn is the best bet.

Hand 2: a 21/15 3 bets you on the button and you have a10o. Fold is probably the best play since you will be out of position and if you miss you will check, he will bet and you fold. Plus any flop that hits your hand is likely to hit his range hard so you might be dominated even if you connect with the flop. A10o is pretty weak to call a 3 bet with. What can you hope for on the flop besides like 2 pair or a flopped straight? You call and miss and then you fold. pretty standard.

Hand 3:again, i like stronger holdings to call 3 bets with unless you have a good read on him. Did you ever check his 3 bet% ?

Hand 4: Limp UTG, Questionable. This is either a raise or fold. Limped pot, i think the flop raise was ok. even turn bet was fine. River is a fold for me. His range is so wide when he checked in the bb. You can't really beat much here. That was probably the worst card that could have come on the river. He led out 3 streets and I think you have to give him credit for a hand bigger than yours in this situation.

Ya, don't call 3bets with ATo or JQo, it's just not profitable. Especially OOP. And fold the flop in hand 1. I wouldn't mind the float so much if the flop was rainbow,or if you had the Kh, but it isn't and you don't.

As has been said, stop calling 3bets OOP with marginal hands.

In H1 I'd prolly make some sort of raise on the river (though I would have folded before then)

In the last hand, I'd raise UTG, then raise the flop a lot more. Your raise doesn't really do anything. On the river, I think you can let this small pot go.

main lesson from posting these hands is that not respecting 3 bets enough (especially out of position) is quite a significant leak that I MUST plug.
The last hand ,as i said in the commentary, I should have raised . The outcome of the hand was that BB turned over 37o and a straight made on the turn.The raise would most likely have folded out the BB and likely I would probably then have won maybe the blinds rather than losing as I did.
The best decision I made on reflection was leaving the table at that time and reviewing my session rather than playing on with my confidence shot .
