Post subject: some general questions for a rookie....

i started an account at betus. i started off wit $51. in less than 3 days i've been up, and down, and i had a tilt nite last nite, and now i'm down to my last 20 bucks. i'm playin NL .02/.04 with 10 players on a table. i didnt like 6 person turbos too much. i really dont wanna crap out and have to make another deposit. i'm 2nd guessing myself alot, and caught some bad beats on all ins. any tips?? thanks alot.

I suggest you to request free guide from www. pokerscow .com there you can find a lot of guides about tips , tricks , cheating , beware from cheating and complete poker guide

Dude, your tilting over the price of a couple Big Mac combos. Get over it or you will never handle the higher stakes, because the suckouts and bad play never ends. Not even at $5K NL

Well the first step is to realize that you suck. It's a hard but important step. There is almost no way you don't suck if you manage to loose 30$ straight at 5NL.
Then take a break - look at the articles and videos on this site, and read some posts.
Play short sessions. Only play for maybe 30 minutes a day when you're feeling well.
Play extremely nitty and pay attention to the other players. I think you can even play profitably by folding everything except AA to AK. Marginally, but it's better than loosing at a record rate.
And then gradually open up your starting hand requirements depending on position, if the pot has been raised and what players you are up against.

very good info, i'm a fast learner, im playing less hands, and reading as many poker lessons as i can. i also took a day off, cleared my head, and i'm back in a good flow(so far). TY
