Here you have to bet the flop for the simple reason that you at the very least need to build a pot since this is a "calling pot". You don't slowplay those.

Sometimes shit happens you know. I just had a set hit with my 33 on the flop. Got into a 3-way all-in. Other guy had hit an overset on the flop. Meh.

The problem with slowplaying trips is that people expect youto do it. If you check the flop and then wake up on the turn it announces you have slowplayed the trips.
The key points to remmeber about slowplaying are:
1) op will probably fold if you bet.
2) The pot should be small. Otherwise the equity you lose by giving free cards is greater than what you will win by slow playing.
3) If you check you are likely to give him the chance to catch up to a second best hand, but not to a best hand. In a small pot if you can avoid paying off the best hand, but will get paid off by the second best hand then slowplaying isnt too bad.
In this case there are 2 hearts so someone could have aflush draw, but you arent paying it off if it hits so its ok. If hes likely to call a nice bet with a flush draw then you should bet.
If not then it isnt too bad to slowplay here. If he hits the K you lose, but if he hit the A or J then he loses.
He only minraised so you probably win as much fromhim with the A or J as he wins from you with the K.
+EV IMO
Having said that, this is a SnG so you probably could use those 300 chips. I probably bet it but I dont hate slowplaying here.

and FIY, that wasnt a set... that was trips..
AT with TTx = trips
TT with Txx = set
a set is much better for three main reasons...
1) You have a lot more outs for a full house.
2) Board looks safe.
3) Better chance of someone hitting a hand to pay you off with.

key to playing big hands...
build a big pot on early streets. Thats why slow playing doesnt work, unless of course your opps are drawing dead on the flop in which case letting them improve may help :P
