I was just responding to someone else's post, and I thought I would throw this out there for everyone:
When they suck out on you, REJOICE!
When they play 7-2 and flop a house, REJOICE!
When they call against pot odds to chase down an inside draw, REJOICE!
When they call your AA reraise with 22, REJOICE!
When they go all-in with KJ, REJOICE!
When your cowboys or ladies are sodomized by a ragged Ace, REJOICE!
REJOICE, brothers and sisters, because THAT is how you get paid in this game! It's challenging to play against superior players, and it keeps you on your toes. That's not where the money is.
It's maddening to get sucked-out by fishies. But the way you make money in poker is to do the following:
Get your chips into the middle of the table when you have the best of it.
End of story.
If you keep good enough records and play for long enough, you'll see the upward tendency in this kind of play.
