Calling off 0.70 more out of position with QQ feels so dirty, but with the extra juice in there from the cold caller I didn't think 4betting would be good. I'm now looking to flop a set. What's the best play?

3bettor has been aggressive but this is the first time I have seen him 3bet. Cold caller got his stack before I sat down and has been quiet since.

well, given the position of the 3-bettor i think set mining is probably the only thing you can do really, because i understand nobody at 10nl 3-bets anything but AA/KK. i assume the cold caller is a big donk so normally i wouldn't fold to his weak ass bet, but i guess with the dude behind you its a fold.

QQ is the third best hand possible. Playing it for set value in 6 max seems very weak/tight.

Without reads I like to 4 bet. However if it is the first time you have seen him 3-bet in 150 hands+ it is different.

Your thinking is why a lot of people are 3-betting like monkeys in 6-max.

A smart man learns only from his own mistakes.
A wise man learns from his own mistakes, and those of the smart man and the fool.

With the cold-caller in the middle there I'm 4-betting this every day and with stats on the 3-better making my decision from there to call or fold to a shove.

At this level you will find yourself up against anything from 99+/AJ+ I'm finding now so don't be too scared to get it in there with a decent read.

As played, you have to dump it on the turn but I'd have donked out on the flop tbh.
