Villain is semi-weak/tight 36/0, we played around 20 hands together, so reads aren't dead on. It's really a marginal hand, but conclusion is pretty clear once you analyze the hand.

Seat 2: Kinbor ($81.45 in chips)
Seat 5: pachu ($35.75 in chips)
Seat 6: Do Ray Me ($97.50 in chips)
Seat 7: hand afoot ($114.10 in chips)
Seat 8: Turner08 ($67.60 in chips)
Seat 9: Addict4Drama ($100 in chips)

*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Kinbor [Kh 9s]
vip1 joins the table at seat #1
vip1 is sitting out
Kinbor: calls $1
pachu: folds
Do Ray Me: calls $1
hand afoot: calls $1
Turner08: calls $0.50
Addict4Drama: checks
*** FLOP *** [Ks Td Kc]
Turner08: checks
Addict4Drama: checks
Kinbor: bets $5
Do Ray Me: folds
dandtmix joins the table at seat #4
hand afoot: calls $5
Turner08: folds
Addict4Drama: folds
*** TURN *** [Ks Td Kc] [Qs]
Kinbor: checks
hand afoot: bets $5
Kinbor: calls $5
*** RIVER *** [Ks Td Kc Qs] [2s]

I called, the guy showed KT for a flopped boat. but if you think of it through board action i was mostly behind. my king was probably the last callable king, AK or TT would raise. I'm only ahead of a couple of hands (AT, QJ and such) and behind most of the real hands. I posted this because i'm wondering if you are able to get away from a hand like this if the showdown is pretty cheap and you're certain you are probably behind.

I think you played it well preflop, but am I correct that you limped utg with k9 offsuit?

If I am you should def review your early position play, there was a good thread on here a month back about under the gun play, so if you look that up itll help you out a little bit. But, for the record, dont play k9 offsuit from under the gun.
Me? I always tell the truth.

Even when I lie.

The only hand I can imagine an opp holding that you beat is Q/J, and I can't imagine you'll see that holding very often. You're beat here much more often than not.

What on earth made u call with K9o utg. That should've been an easy fold pre-flop, but after that I think you played it fine. If you are going to play that pre-flop, raise it to make people think you probably have something nice. That KT probably doesn't play the hand if you raise utg.

Limping here pre-flop in this game is like taking money and setting it on fire.

There's no excuse for this limp UTG (only that the table was not full, one or two were sitting out so it was almost like 6-max and the fact I was raising a lot and that someone could put me on a monster). But you are right, I really should raise but I was stealing blinds a lot. I really hope you won't judge me on this hand alone and we can still be friends.

I was more concerned with my postflop play, because I was almost sure I was behind and didn't have the guts to lay it down (that damaging alfa-male poker impulse MAYBE HE'S BLUFFING?!?!).
