Ok, so recently I've been buying in shortstacked at the $100NL games on Hollywood poker as a sort of 'aggressive like rippy' experiment. (been buying in at $50 and if I bust I rebuy for $100) I don't quite have a BR for $100NL yet (I'm just below 15 buy ins)...

Over say 20k hands my results have been:

1/3 times I bust my $50. Out of these times I regain my losses 1/2 the time after rebuying in at $100, make profit 1/4 of the time and bust again 1/4 of the time.

1/3 times I end up with 4-6x my buy in
1/3 times I end up with 2-4x my buy in

So, I've been showing a profit, which got me thinking; Most people don't play short-stacked very well, but there must be some positives about being short stacked?

I seem to get a LOT more action as a shortie than if I buy in fully; not many people give credit shortstacks (and for good reason as many are donks. I myself usually never give credit to shorties). Once I win say 2 1/2-3x my buy in, I start getting a lot more credit and bluffs/cont. bets become profitable.

An aggressive approach seems to work quite well.

Anyway, my question; does anyone play shortstacked and if so, how do you play it to get most +EV? Also, can my play be +EV in the long run? (keeping in mind I'm not yet quite rolled for 100nl; I was for a bit but then had to pull some cash out)
Roll Rebuilding (for the second time). Current; $1600 from $300 (previous, $2300 from $15)

jackvance is an unknown quantity at this point
I'm inclined to think most of your profit will come from people thinking you are a donk, or a typical shortie. But if it goes so well as your stats seem to suggest, why not keep it up right?
