I play ultra-turbo 6 person SNGS. Of the times I have places I get around 65% second place, 35% first place. I want to get the first place percent up so I need to work on my heads up. This is slightly different from MTT heads up because the blinds are up to 800-1000 with 4500k stacks by the time its down to two people. I think I'm usually good at heads up but I guess I'm not aggressive enough.

What hands should I raise with on the SB against a mostly loose opponent if we both have the same size stacks? How much should I raise? (If the blinds are around 800)

I'm not an expert, but I've played quite a few of these, so this is a rough run-down how I do it:

Raise like 80% from the sb if there's enough stack behind to play the flop. You get to be in position thru the hand, so go for it.

Play fairly honest from the big. Don't call too many raises pre, be inclined to push over them in marginal situations.

After the flop, bet to set up pushing situations, always try to be the guy who shoves.

This should put you in situations where you have your hand's equity + FE. It should also put your opponent in tougher spots, which is always +EV.
Check out my self-deprecation here!
