Hi All,
My first post, but have been lurking around like 1/2 year already.
Cant post HH yet, please convert this for me. Appreciate it very much.
Have the privilege sitting 1 table with Nightgizmo.
get this play wrong and Night encourage me to post, so here iam.

No read on villain , HUD not running, just sit fr several hands. Maybe Night can give villain stats. thanks first Night.
Was meant to trapping villain, thinking if i bet here worse hand wont called. so c/c line taken on flop. and leading and when he rr i was thinking that he might be bluffing, coz my flop line is weak so 3b there fr value (at least thats what i tought. lol)

Regards, Andy.

Sorry, not Night fault. Its me that ask him like "FTR'er Night?". Coz hv been reading here for sometime, and when sat there, his name rang bell. And he encouraged me to post this hand in the forum, when i asked him whats wrong with that play. Nice person indeed. So pls accept my apology. And thank you Pdk1010 fr the conversion. Regards Andy.

Did you have any reads on the UTG player? You should have -- he was super loose. So your 3bet pre makes sense for value, since he was raising trash from all positions. But you need to 3bet more. You're giving the BTN odds to call with a wide range of hands. If you 3bet to .60 or more, you would have probably pushed him out.

On the flop. you hit your hand -- why did you check? Do not slowplay hands at 5NL, especially against unknowns.

On the turn -- why did you bet so small? If you think you have the best hand here, bet much bigger.

Hmm... yes... common sense must have failed me in that moment. It was a very specific question, though, and I know very few FTP SNs of the regular posters in this forum. But from now on, I'll just respond with "No speaka da english" when asked.

But I promise -- I don't go around talking about FTR, especially not at the tables.

Plenty of worse in his range, at least based on nightgiz's reads. You're getting mega valuez from worse Ax and random SCs that he is stupid enough to call pre with. Take a valuebet/valuebet/valueshove line. If he raises turn get it in, like daven said, and be surprised at how often you get called when you're ahead in this spot.

I also like a slightly larger 3bet pre, maybe 3.5x or so? .50 or .55 imo

@pennywise, thx fr the insight. So nothing wrong here in manupulating my range (i think my line shows i am holding mid pp, right?) except i need to 3b pf bigger to .55 and shove turn. I was beaten this hand, and yes to unsuited conn. Just a cooler then. Lol regards, Andyw
