Set up this LAG by playing a few hands heads up and folding instantly to his overbets hoping it would pay off later. Wanted to set a "wimpy image" so that he would think he could overbet me off any hand.
Sorry, hand convertor is not working for me so here is the raw text:
Seat 1: k_levrone ($54.85 in chips)
Seat 2: blairaldo x ($20 in chips)
Seat 3: Damirka1 ($14.35 in chips)
Seat 4: HERO [JS,KS] ($40 in chips)
Seat 5: Hampe04 ($26.35 in chips)
Seat 6: sawyer1976 ($30.25 in chips)
Seat 7: Per-Elvis ($51.30 in chips)
Seat 8: 358 ($22.55 in chips)
Seat 9: Snowrider84 ($34.20 in chips)
Seat 10: barrybethel($34.45 in chips)
ANTES/BLINDS
Hampe04 posts blind ($0.15), sawyer1976 posts blind ($0.25).
PRE-FLOP
Per-Elvis folds, 358 folds, Snowrider84 folds, barrybethel bets $1, k_levrone folds, blairaldo x folds, Damirka1 folds, HERO calls $1, Hampe04 folds, sawyer1976 calls $0.75.
(barrybethel is typical LAG 40% VPIP, 10% pf raise, aggression factor = 7.5...for $1, I call and want to see the flop).
FLOP [board cards 4S,5H,AS ]
sawyer1976 checks, barrybethel bets $1.50, HERO calls $1.50, sawyer1976 folds.
(Ah, I have the nut flush draw....and he only bets $1.50 which means he actually has a hand otherwise he would have bet $10 to try to scare me out....so obviously I call).
TURN [board cards 4S,5H,AS,7S ]
(OMG, I hit the nut flush on the turn...hopefully now is my turn to let those insta-folds pay off. PLEASE BET BIG!)
barrybethel bets $31.95 and is all-in
(He thinks I don't have it because he obviously does not by that bet...uh, raise all-in just for fun. What a donk bet...could have bet pot to figure out I had the flush--although I would have called to look weak anyways).
HERO bets $37.50 and is all-in.
RIVER [board cards 4S,5H,AS,7S,7C ]
SHOWDOWN
HERO shows [ JS,KS ]
barrybethel shows [ AH,QS ]
HERO wins $5.55, HERO wins $69.55.
The last 7 scared me a little...thought maybe he had a set. But, in the end...I finally win a BIG pot after 5k hands of $25NL at Pokerroom. All I have managed to win is small/medium pots and have lost all of the big pots, mainly due to unbelievable suckouts (75%) and poor play (25% my stupidity).
So, I feel like a major weight has been lifted off my shoulders...hopefully this means better times ahead for me in PR.

I'm sorry but that isn't good play by you at all that's just idiocy by him.
I'm not saying you played it badly... you played it fine, he just played it terribly.

What's the reason for playing there rather than for bonus whoring? I'm stuck at Pokerroom because of my Mac. Just curious on what I'm missing out on. The tables seem beatable and have plenty of opponents that will pay you off.
