I'm a sucker by definition. I think I know how to play poker, but the amount of time I've been stuck at micro-limits says differently. Is there a way I could have gotten away from this hand easier, or is this just one of those situations where I have to pay the guy off?

Bodog $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em - 8 players

CO: $23.21
BTN: $31.04
SB: $8.80
BB: $9.20
UTG: $9.60
UTG+1: $21.43
MP1: $6.25
Hero (MP2): $14.85

Pre Flop: Hero is MP2 with 2 2
UTG calls $0.10, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.10, CO calls $0.10, BTN calls $0.10, 1 fold, BB checks

Flop: ($0.55) 2 5 T (5 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $0.60, CO calls $0.60, BTN folds, BB calls $0.60, UTG folds

Turn: ($2.35) 3 (3 players)
BB bets $2.35, Hero calls $2.35, CO folds

River: ($7.05) Q (2 players)
BB bets $6.15 all in, Hero calls $6.15



Villian turned over 4 A and a kitten died somewhere. Help me.

The only things I'd have done different is that I'd have raised preflop and pushed the turn.

i would have folded the river...flush got there plus str8 completed on turn and hes still going crazy, but still nh.

10nl + set = all in.

it was a backdoor flush anyway so it's pretty unlikely he has that.

cooler, nothing you could do IMO. You were going to get it in at those stakes. Just a matter of which street.

Keep your chin up though. I'm playin at the same stakes and am having a hell of a downswing. Keep getting the moneys in good and at some point it will turn around.
