Hello allmighty All,
being new to the forums just wanted to say hi and ask for a bit of advice.
I started playing about a year ago, not too regularly till a couple of months ago. I'm doing alright at $500 NLHE (5/10 blinds) at local casino but for the life of me cannot figure out online game.. even at .5/1 level. Not really sure where even to start looking for problems although tried reading up on differences between live and online play and adjusting accordingly.
will greately appreciate any advice! thanks!

Read the stickies in this forum. Robb's stuff, Spoonitnow's stuff, fnord's stuff. It's all sweetness. Try here - http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...it-t67759.html
Robb's collected some of the best posts.
You'll want to consider what tools you use (PokerTracker, Hold'em manager, etc.) and how you want to play (work on being a multitabling nit, or focus on one table at a time and build from there, etc.), how often, and with what goal in mind.
Just being here is a great start, as these guys are online gods pwning fishes all over this bitch. They can drop some knowledge on you hard.
Good luck.

Don't feel so bad, online NLHE games are muuuuuuuuuuuuuuch tougher than live. On the bright side, it will make you a much better player, so gl.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

well look at it this way 5/10 NL at the casino is the second level so you should probably play at 5NL (0.02/0.05) level online until you learn how to beat online games
