I think this hand is a good one to examine the opponent on. You are in middle position when you get 10 10. You see that the CO 3-bet the initial raise; this is the first time you've seen him 3-bet, and you've seen him play around 1 to 2 hands in each round of blinds. He often fires out bets postflop, possibly because the table is semi-tight.

So, how fast or slow would you play this hand compared to how it was handled here? What is the CO likely representing or trying to represent? Is all the money going in no matter what? Could you possibly slow way down because of the threat of aces?

Button ($1.81)
SB ($4.83)
BB ($7.84)
UTG ($3.26)
UTG+1 ($6.82)
Hero ($6.29)
MP2 ($1.93)
CO ($10.80)

Preflop:
1 fold, UTG+1 bets $0.15, Hero calls $0.15, 1 fold, CO raises to $0.50, 4 folds, Hero calls $0.35

Flop: ($1.22) 10, A, 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $0.70, Hero calls $0.70

Turn: ($2.62) 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $1.50, Hero raises to $3, CO raises to $6, Hero calls $2.09 (All-In)

River: ($12.80) 9 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: $12.80 | Rake: $0.60

Although you are pretty much only calling for set odds here imo and calling OOP for a set with less than 15:1 odds is not something I would be doing too often.

Also, I probly c/c flop (c/r or even lead sometimes due to FD), but you shouldn't be check minraising the turn. You need to c/r like a man if ur gonna do it. Just c/ship imo.

I don't c/r turn. Likely just c/call, and check river to him. On the turn if he doesn't have AK/AT/AA,then when you check/raise you aren't getting much value from worse, as he is likely to fold AJ/AQ, or some other weirdly played hands you beat.

Also, I'm not a huge fan of calling 3bets OOP. Although if villain is 3betting light its really the only option here. However, if you suck in 3bet pots your gonna get pwned hard postflop often.

Also a FD isn't of huge concern to you. A good portion of an individual's 3betting range is going to contain an Ace (AK, AQ, Axs, AA), and because of this a FD isn't that likely, given the Ace of that suit is on the board. I mean he could be 3betting something like KJs, etc, but I wouldn't be too worried about it, at least not at these limits, as the majority of 3bets are primarily for value. Also, even if he does hit a flush, we still have 10 outs, and the money is going in anyways (SPR).

I see. In this case I actually wasn't the Hero, but this hand is still important for me in a way. I'm guessing it's pretty much an auto-fold preflop if he's only playing half as many hands (1-2 hands every two rounds)?
