The button is in seat #1
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to 1faSStchevy [Qc Qs]
mcd6579 folds
tommy5722 has returned
setherson22 raises to $1.75
GRINDHOUSE0 raises to $6
The table has been playing fairly tight but very aggressive in spots. I have played alot of pots but in possition and firing the whole way. This is the first 3bet preflop I've seen here. If I push the only hands I see calling are AA,KK,QQ, maybe JJ. These players can get away from TT or AKs I think. If I flat call and CO pushes I think I would have to fold and if we see a flop with an A or K I would have to c/f. My gut says I have to shove but is it right?

this is where your thinking is flawed. You have 40bbs and QQ, it's fairly trivial to get all your money in here and go buy your girlfriend a few rounds at Chili's.

You only have 40BBs, they'll call much lighter than KK+ imo

Sure, they'll call with much lighter, but how often do they 3bet light? AA-JJ, maybe TT and perhaps AK-KQ. Of course you'll get some aggros 3betting mid pairs too. AA/KK have you dominated and AK is a coin flip. You're favored against everything else and with 40BB left, that's enough for me to get it all in and see what happens. If villain flips over AA or KK, suck it up or learn to top off your stack.
