If someone goes all in, he is short stacked, and he has 2 callers. Then there is a side pot, does the first all in guy'short stacked' show his cards?

I believe the opps competing for side pot (or for multiple side pots, the last side pot that was created) shows first. When the winner of the side pot is determined then the main (or other side pots) pot opps show their cards to determine winner (in this example that would be the shortstack). So the shortstack would show last.

No, because he'd be dilvulging information to the other players that are still in the hand. By knowing what you got, they can be certain what the other person definitely dosen't have. Which can be a disadvantage given certain boards scenarios.

The all in short stack dosen't show his cards until the show down with all the other players still in the pot.

Hm, maybe I misread. Noone shows any cards until river card is shown and all bets are done. Then the side pot opps show their cards, then shortstack shows his (in your scenario)

Yeah I read it that way at first also....

All cards stay face down until there can be no more bets(eveyone all in, etc) or until after the betting for the river card.

Showing his hand (Short stack) would definitely play to someone's advantage when they are still betting
