Take Rolf's quiz to see how good a player you are:

Rolf Slotboom's test of Hold 'em prowess

I got an 80, which he says means "You haven't grasped the essence of playing hold'em yet." (insert middle-finger emoticon here) I found this on 2+2, and they all seem to aggree with me; Rolf has to be the most weak/tight player in the world to play these hands the way he suggests. This is of course regarding limit, but still, grow a pair of 'nads before sitting at the table.
Is that guy still part of the forum??

2+2 trashed this quiz left and right (some great AK and JJ pre-flop folds.) Ed Miller posted his answers. Rolf said he wrote it years ago, before he knew better, and pled for mercy.

I got an 83:

You seem to know a little, but not enough yet to be a winning player. (Re-) read some more books. Since all questions in this quiz were about basic, common situations only, you should have done better if you are in fact a serious player.

But maybe thats why I stick to NL. No place for weak tight players there.

I got a 78. Whats up with number six? He wants you to fold AK to the raise.
There are very few times that I would do that.

I got an 80 as well. guess theres no room for balls in limit. i can't even play limit online, to slow and frustrating. guess i better hit the library though, if this quiz holds water.
"But they were suited?!?! You idiot!!"

Hm, I got an 88. Perhaps I play a little too tight.

87-he told me to hit the books.

I would not totally trash the quiz. He asked some interesting questions and provided food for thought. Of course there are never any absolute correct answers in the game because every situation is a bit different and everybody plays a bit different.

The dude does make a living playing so he must know a thing or two.
