SB bets $0.70, Hero raises to $2.50, SB raises to $4.30, Hero raises to $4.85 (All-In)
Did I make the right play on the flop? I feel like I had the best hand. I put him on KQ, KJ, or a flush draw. I was mostly worried about the flush draw.

Well in hindsight, I would have pushed after his first raise. Make him pay to play lower kickers or a draw.

To prevent him from drawing out if he had the flush draw. Then again it's 10nl and people love to go all-In on draws.

Do you think his donk betting range only includes flush draws and kings with lower kickers? His range is likely wider than that. What are your reads?
If he has a flush draw, why are you so afraid of a call? How much do you have to bet so that his call becomes incorrect? Are we thinking only pot odds or should we consider implied odds too?
Pushing after his donk bet isn't necessarily the optimal play. You need to get value from hands like this.

Saying to push because you're scared of a flush draw isn't a good reason. Offer another reason for discussion?

my bet sizing would have been different but I'm not sure it would have been better.

Realizing he has only half a stack (gg hand reading) makes me like push now :P Is there really such a difference between raising it with the intention of getting it in regardless and pushing? I dunno so I'll probably just shut up now and let someone better at cash answer. But at least I feel like I saved a thread because I guarantee there would have been flaming without my edit

The reason I probably would have pushed because he would have most likely called with KQ or KJ and might have called with the flush draw. Any of those would have been great but I prefer one of the first two. Less chance he'll catch his card

Let's say you *did* give odds to the flush draw to draw out over time... which happens roughly 1/3rd of the time to the river in this scenario.
You still got a metric butt ton of money in with the best hand... Given the situation, (IE your opponent flips his hand up and says, I have a flush draw I'm going to the river or folding if you don't give me odds) You win this pot 2 times out of 3, your opponent wins this pot 1 time out of three... and you make money over the long run because you donated roughly half the money to the pot.
So... AI is good here, even if you did give him odds.
