Today I accomplished something I though was pretty cool and came 38th in a 10,000 field MTT. First time I ever did this. Only won $2.50 (freeroll) but thats not the point.

So over the moon with myself I was that I fired up a ring game and threw away $10 first hand with TPTK called all-in when I KNEW I was beat! Arrrgh!

Why did I do this!!??

Plaese feel free to berate me from a height so I wont do this again!!

if you want an antitilt see my sticky post on the psychology of tilt. however it doesn't cover "i'm full of myself and can beat the world" syndrome. so it may not answer your question.

I do that when I know i'm better than the players around me. so i figure i can "outplay them" but you can't outplay the cards if they have them. so you learn an important lesson.

I know exactly what you mean.

I've been playing 10NL on Royal Vegas and will sit down for a few hours and get up to ~30-35 bucks and then get really loose, throwing money around. ..and get down to ~29 and then realize what I did and quit. This happens EVERY time.

Quit being a retard. You wasted hours making the money in an MTT only to blow 4 times that amount in thirty seconds by calling off your chips when you knew damn good and well you had no chance of winning the pot. Pull your head out of your ass; your brain doesn't run on methane!

Not really like me to go off on someone like that, but you did ask for it.
