Hello,
I recently moved up to 10$NL and will be posting my 10k hands for review by you guys soonish, I'm at around 8k so far. I'm wondering whether or not you guys calculate rakeback and bonuses into your BB/100. When I started this project I moved to Ultimate Bet, got rakeback and a new bonus, hence my question. Currently I'm at around 3BB/100, which is roughly 50$ up. Rakeback is already 20$ or so and I've already recieved 10$ of bonus. So my BB/100, if I include these, would be a bit higher. Should I calculate it into it?
Thanks a bunch for any response and all the time you guys put into these forums. <3

nope.
Then the BB/100 doesn't tell you too much, and it's not all that important when you should be thinking mainly about improving your game... The BB/100 is fine for dick comparison type situations, but in the real world it's more important to figure out when it's good to value bet vs checking behind, or getting better at bet sizing and so on.

No, dont include your rakeback in your bb/100, but do include it in your BRM reqs (i.e., its part of your bankroll)

Gobbatino as a side note 10k hands may tell you a little bit but it is really very little info you'll be able to gather from such a small sample. Not saying you shouldn't post it but just letting you know in the big picture that is a very small snap shot. Probably what you should post at 10k is you position stats etc. I think that is where the regs will be able to help you the most.
Good luck!!!

Thanks, yeah I plan on making a post about it tomorrow (inlcuding position stats), I should be over 10k by then. I understand this isn't a huge sample but should be at least a starting point. I know I have leaks in my game. Some of them I'm working on but I'm sure the regs around here can help me find a few more.

10K is good enough for beginners to find large leaks. By the sounds of your BB/100 you have several.

I disagree
OP - post your 10k stats - people here will be able to use these to identify heaps of leaks.
If you're using HEM, post the position stats (if you play full ring then use the custom report for FR) and the standard 'by stakes' report.
