about a year ago, i signed up to play for real money on party poker, like $50 or $100 or something. I played, and my bankroll went up and down, but when it was down to like around $30, I wanted to cash out and put the $30 back into my bank account. I remember it telling me that I couldn't just put the $30 back into my account, I had to win at least $50 to do that. well that sucked! i didnt want to play anymore, i just wanted my 30 back and take the 20 dollar loss, but it wouldnt let me do that; it held onto my 30 and kept telling me i needed to get it back up to 50 before i could put it back into my account. so, i played my 30, trying to get back up to 50, which i didnt do, so they got all of my money.
does this seem not fair? did anyone else have this problem? thanks.

I've never done Party Poker, but I tried to cash out of Paradise under similar circumstances.
I had $32.16 (I'm making numbers up to make my point)
I tried to withdraw $30, and it said that I couldn't. I had to either withdraw everything, or a $50 minimum. SO I withdrew $32.16 and it went through fine.
Is it possible that you are trying to withdraw slightly less than your total amount?

I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

I'm pretty sure MINIMUM withdrawal amount at Party is $50.

You could've deposited $50 more, and then withdrew $80.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there is a single game at Party where a $50 bankroll is enough. I've certainly blown $50 within three hours at both .5/1 and $25 NL.

Maybe $50 is good at $5($10 maybe) SnGs and .25 stud

Scratch the .5/1 stud game. With Party fish and a .25c ante, the variance goes through the roof.

Well, alot of people including myself will only keep 50 in unless im doing grrrrrrrreat. I always start with 50, thats my liit, can usually play pretty well on that stack in $5 SNGS. I encountered this same problem, started with 50, got down to 40, needed the money for a trip and was stuck. I just stuck another 50 in and pulled out 90 I agree that everyone would LIKE to start out with more, but its just not possible, nothing hurts worse than losing that 50, then 50 more and you dont have the resources to try and get it back, tilt or not. Thats just how it goes, Ive had swings on $100 in about an hour in 25 NL. You should be ok if you can finish itm on some early SNGS.
Wow...i just rambled on way too long.

The "All In" Play works everytime, but once.

The rake on the $5+1's is horrible. Moving up to the $10 or $20 SnGs should be an instant upgrade in winnings.
