99% of you might say standard, but I just want to make sure, I've never been First to act on a hand like this.(sounds pathetic huh?) because I really fealt I was representing the Jack too much and thus not getting proper value from this hand. I realized afterward that by betting I was pretty much pushing everyone that didn't have a J out and only keeping those that did..., BUT I didn't want to let anybody catch that flush cheaply.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (9 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

MP3 ($1.12)
CO ($6.08)
Button ($2.95)
Hero ($2.97)
BB ($1.20)
UTG ($4.30)
UTG+1 ($5.31)
MP1 ($5.01)
MP2 ($1.38)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, A.
3 folds, MP2 raises to $0.06, 3 folds, Hero raises to $0.14, BB calls $0.12, MP2 calls $0.08.
-->(I bet slightly smaller than I should have pre, but I was looking REALLY tight since I hadn't caught a single hand yet, for a while. Wrong anyway?)

Flop: ($0.42) J, T, J (3 players)
Hero bets $0.3, BB folds, MP2 folds.

Final Pot: $0.42

You have the right idea.

Raise preflop more - if the opponents are sitting on T7s they decided to mix it up with they will never pay you off anyway. Just raise with confidence, if they fold they had crap and would never have paid you a big pot anyway.

On the flop you have to bet to price out draws. If he raises he is more likely to have a T than a J in which case you have a better two pair - but he could also have flopped trips or a full house so you can't shove, but should call. He could also raise with a draw (two diamonds, KQ, 98) and you need to call and see if any draws complete.

Raise flop more. A full PSB is not out of line. Draw heavy boards that are quite likely to have hit people need bigger bets REGARDLESS OF YOUR CARDS to price out possible draws.

If they call 7BB why would they fold to 9BB?

Also, If the first time you 3 bet you have AA or KK it better be in the first orbit at any table.

Yeah, that's what I was saying I had just sat down and it was like within the first couple of orbits, I had gotten true garbage so far. Real rags.

And as far as the betting, you too are right jyms. I suppose that further creates a TAGG player, Betting strong/appropriately.

fwiw, they don't know what an image is. Just play correctly. They aren't gonna be paying enough attention for you to make a play "based on image" or anything like that.
