I decided to pull a random hand where I isolate a limper from today's session that didn't result in a big win or loss. Pretty simple spot considering I didn't face any resistance, just posting for a line check and seeing how others would have played this differently. Perhaps checking behind for a delayed c-bet?

Villain is Loose/Passive both preflop and postlfop.

This is played fine. Betting the flop is ideal here imo, as it gets value from worse while also balancing your range here (you would cbet AK, sets, flush draws, etc). Checking back on this flop would significantly weaken your turn range imo (would be narrowed to hands just like you have in most instances).

I was looking for a reason regarding the play I made so I understand my actions better in these spots for the future. TBH I felt kind of lost in this spot so I just bet, but now I can see why betting makes sense. Thanks alot for your input, it actually made me realize the thought process behind betting here as opposed to just doing it out of impulse or habit.
